EVENT NOW OVER AND A SUCCESSFUL CAMPING WEEKEND AND DISPLAY WITH MEMBERS OF VW CLUB OF WA AND WATERCOOLERS ALSO PARTICIPATING.
A Springtime camping weekend with Sunday 28th September the big day with a Show and Shine for all VWs in the beautiful location of the
MURESK INSTITUTE
on the Avon River near Spencers Brook and only 11 k from Northam the centre of the Avon Valley. 27k from historic York, Western Australia's oldest inland town and 1k from Spencers Brook and it's historic classic country Tavern. The public will be invited on Sunday the 28th to see display of Kombis and other VWs including Beetles, Type 3s and Karman Ghias . All VW clubs and groups are invited to show their vehicles.
Posters and flyer distribition started last week and more will be out this week both in metro and country areas.
Many on display will be classics-some totally restored and others just as they have remained with good care and maintenance.
We hope some show "work in progress" so the work and care that goes into refurbishment and/or restoration can be seen.
UPDATE 17th September- Trophies now in hand courtesy Shannon's sponsorship. Best of Show- chosen by our independant Judge Mr Rod Slater.

Muresk Campus e-mailed for some posters to distribute on campus and they have been delivered.
